Hopes of leap-frogging Ryerson in the standings were spoiled on a wet friday night. Cherilyn Yeboah scored Trent's lone goal on the night and Riley Gillespie-Friesen made two saves.

Trent 3 - 2 Toronto
With a chance to gain some ground on a strong University of Toronto squad in the standings, Trent did not disappoint. The first half finished with U of T on top 2-0. Violet Hipkin and Alexis Wilson would even the score early in the second half. Emma Twohey scored the game winner in injury time giving the the Excalibur women's soccer team their second win of the season, already equaling their total from a year ago with nine games remaining. This is the first time in 22 years that The women's soccer team has defeated the University of Toronto.
The Excalibur women's soccer team plays at Nipissing University on Saturday, September 21st and at Ontario Tech University on Sunday, September 22nd. Game starts are 12pm and 1pm respectively.
