the quarter-final matchup for Trent proved all too easy as Emily Vandamme was phenomenal in net while Leah Michel and Avery Di Giorgio lit up the scoreboard with four goals a piece.
October 19th, 2019
Trent 16 - 9 Ontario Tech
A tougher opponent proved a bit more challenging defensively but the end result was still the same as Trent knocked off the hosts in the semi-final.
October 20th, 2019
Trent 10 - 7 Queen's
Trent claimed OUA supremacy Sunday afternoon over reigning champions, Queen's University. a hard fought game, Trent found themselves in the hole early on, trailing after the first and tied up at halftime. Avery Digiorgio was absolutely clutch scoring four goals while Vandamme stood tall in net. Leah Michel and Maddy Campbell scored twice. Rachel Smith and Donna Ward each added a goal.
