Trent 24 - 0 York
In their first of two games on the day, Trent had no problem getting past the shorthanded York University squad. Mackenzie Robinson scored five goals, Jocelyn Whent added four, Lauren Mandalfino had three and Maddy Campbell, Victoria Clark, Katelyn Buckton, Rachel Douglas, and Chelsea Campbell all scored two. Morgan Mcechen scored once.
Trent 19 - 3 Ontario Tech
In game two, Trent kept their pedal to the medal against the stronger Ontario Tech team. Emily VanDmme was great between the pipes, turning away numerous Ridgeback opportunities. Mackenzie Robinson found the back of the net five seven times, Avery Digiorgio scored five, Leah Michel added four while Rachel Smith scored two, Jocelyn Whent also added a goal.
The Excalibur women's lacrosse team will visit York University on Saturday, October 5th for games against Toronto (8:30am) and Ontario Tech (1:45pm).
