Summary:
On Wednesday the men's & women's volleyball teams travelled to belleville, where they took on the loyalist lancers. The women's game was long and intense, with each team trading off sets and points. In the fifth deciding set, the Excalibur unfortunately fell 15-10 to the lady lancers. In the men's game Trent displayed a show of strength, only giving one set to the lancers. They completed the match with a 3-1 win.

On Saturday, the Excalibur returned home to Peterborough to host the Algonquin college thunder. It was a tight race once again in the women's game, with each team trading points for the whole match. This time, however, the ball fell in Algonquins court. An exciting match for all, the Excalibur took the final set, taking the match 3-2. On the men's side, the Excalibur improved their games won record to 7-2, sweeping the match vs. Algonquin 3-0. 

Look for the Excalibur back in action next weekend for the last games of the first half!
