Three Excalibur rugby players from Trent University have been selected to train with the Toronto Arrows academy, a world-renowned athlete development program. Jem Logan, Nick Bews, and Caleb Hickey have been chosen to participate, with Hickey returning for a second time.

As part of the program, the Trent athletes will have an opportunity to play with and learn from top players in Ontario and Quebec, receive top-level coaching, and compete against some of the best talent in the country.

"I can speak for not only myself, but all of our players and coaches when I say that we are incredibly proud of Jem, Nick, and Caleb as they continue their rugby journey with aspirations of one day representing the Toronto Arrows in major league rugby," said Eric Noyes, head coach of the Excalibur men's rugby team. "They will use the skills they have honed on the pitch at Justin Chiu Stadium to become more well-rounded and robust players."
