Women’s Rugby:
The Women’s Rugby team took a disappointing loss to the Brock Badgers during their third game of the season on Friday night. With a final score of 68-0, the women fought hard, but ultimately fell short to the Badgers offense.

Women’s Lacrosse:
The Women’s Lacrosse Team went 1-1 on their weekend double-header in Toronto. Their first game against the Ontario Tech Ridgebacks resulted in a 19-2 victory for the Excalibur! In their second game, the women unfortunately fell 16-4 to the Queen’s Gaels after a tremendous effort.

Men’s Rugby:
The Men’s Rugby team also fell a little short this weekend when they faced the Guelph Gryphons. The final score was 95-0 Guelph, after a strong effort by the Men.

Men’s Lacrosse:
The Men’s Lacrosse team also went 1-1 on the road this weekend, with a win against the Ottawa Gee-Gees and a loss against the Carleton Ravens. In their game on Saturday against the Gee-Gees, the men came out swinging with three goals, two by Jack MacAlpine. He finished the game with a hat trick, contributing 3 goals and 5 assists to the 12-8 victory over Ottawa. In their second game, the Men fought throughout the whole game, but lost by one goal to the Carleton Raven’s. The final score was 10-9 Ravens, taking away Trent’s undefeated title.

Women’s Soccer:
The Women’s Soccer team put up an incredible effort against the Queen’s Gaels, but unfortunately lost 4-1. After an early goal by Natalie Coscarella, with an assist by Darienne Patkau, the Women were up to an early 1-0 lead, but unfortunately, were unable to hold it against the Gaels.

Men’s Soccer:
The Men’s Soccer team was off to an amazing start against the Queen’s Gaels in their game. Within the first 20 minutes of the game, the score was 2-0 Excalibur! The first goal was scored unassisted by Noah Carew, and the second by Leo Frans, assisted by Oliver Parratt. Queen’s then responded with three goals, and the score was 3-2 Gaels at halftime. In the second half, Leo Frans scored his second of the game to tie it up at 3-3, but the team was unable to get past Queen’s and sadly lost 5-3.
