Women's Volleyball:

The women's volleyball team was on fire this weekend, securing victories in both matches against RMC. On Friday night, the team dominated with a 3-0 win, demonstrating their skill and teamwork. Saturday's match proved to be a tougher challenge as RMC came out charging. Despite RMC’s resilience, the team executed a remarkable reverse sweep, clinching a second win 3-2.

 

Men's Volleyball Dominates Against RMC:

The success continued for Trent University's men's volleyball team as they also defeated RMC.

The men started the weekend with a 3-2 win on Friday night, which was just the push they needed to come out with a 3-0 win on Saturday.

 

Women's Curling Takes 3rd Place at Brock Invitational:

The Excalibur Women's Curling team secured 3rd place finish at the Brock Invitational held at the St. Catherine's Golf & Country Club from Jan 20th-21st. Leslie Inglis played skip and effectively guided the team, which included two rookies, Toula Pappas (Vice) and Adriana Cule (Lead), along with veteran Jillian Cousineau at second. Brenna King, another rookie, served as the team's alternate. The team secured victories with a score of 7-1 against York University, 7-2 against Windsor, and 7-0 against Ottawa Gee Gees. However, they faced a setback against WLU, losing 6-1. Despite the final loss, Trent finished third out of twelve teams at the Brock spiel.

 

Men's Curling Team Claims 3rd Place in Invitational:

The men's curling team also secured a 3rd place finish in St Catharines, with a 3-1 record. The team started the weekend ready to win, defeating York with a score of 10-2, Windsor with a score of 7-2, and Ottawa with a score of 7-2. However they faced a formidable opponent in Laurier and suffered a loss with a score of 7-1.
