Excalibur Weekend Wrap-up (Oct 8-10): Thanksgiving weekend sees Excalibur men's lacrosse stand strong atop the division

The Excalibur men's lacrosse team was back in action, entering the Thanksgiving weekend with an undefeated record in the Central Division.

Facing off against the Nipissing Lakers with a chance to clinch the division, the Excalibur team capitalized on the opportunity with a full team effort. On the scoreboard, it was Jack Alpine who led the way, tallying three goals and two assists as the men's team claimed another victory, winning 11-4.

With the victory over the Lakers on Saturday, the Excalibur team clinches first place in the Central Division, with a 4-0 record and on two games left of the regular season schedule.

The Excalibur women's lacrosse team headed to Queen's University to take on the Gaels on Saturday. Coming off their victory over the Toronto Varsity Blues the previous weekend, the Excalibur team fell 16-7 and 13-6 during this week's doubleheader.
