On Friday, the women?s rugby team hit the ground running with their first game of the season against Waterloo at the Justin Chiu Stadium. Kiara Shaw set the bar early for the match with a try in the first few minutes of play. By halftime, the girls were up 21-0 against Waterloo. The warriors managed to get some points on the board in the second, but not enough to come back from Excalibur?s seven tries and three conversions. With a strong lead all game, Excalibur won 41-12.
