Men's Volleyball Welcomes Chris LeRoy

Peterborough, Ontario - Trent University is pleased to announce the signing of Chris LeRoy, a 6'2" Outside Hitter from Corner Brook, Newfoundland. Chris has played volleyball for 6 years, including 3 years with the Humber Volleyball Club and 1 year with the Eastern Impact Club. He competed on the Provincial Team for 1 year, where his team won the Eastern Elite Championships. Chris was also nominated for the NLVA top male athlete in 2016.

"Chris is going to be a big addition to the Trent Excalibur program," says Chris Wilding, Head Coach of the Men's Volleyball Program. "He is very athletic and brings a lot of speed and power to the outside position."

"I am excited to be playing a higher level of volleyball while persuing my education," LeRoy said. "Although not seeing the school in person yet it looks like a very comfortable place. From what I've heard, it is a very welcoming atmosphere."

Outside of volleyball, Chris listens to music and enjoys skidooing.

Chris will be studying Business starting in the fall.
