Trent 9 - 8 Brock

There was no shortage of entertainment on Saturday morning, down 4-1 going into the second quarter, Nick Chaykowsky took matters into his own hands scoring three of Trent's four second-quarter goals. The Excalibur entered the half squared up at five. The teams would exchange goals through the second half but remained tied at eight after 60 minutes. Two minutes into overtime it was Curtis Conley time, the long pole defender scooped up a loose ball in his own end and rushed at the net ripping one home sending Trent to the CUFLA National Championship game against Western. Chaykowsky had seven points in the win, Dylan Munro made 13 saves.

Western 8 - 5 Trent

Championship Sunday brought together the second place teams from the East and the West, both teams finished the regular season 8-2 and both teams beat the two undefeated teams in the semi-finals. Keeping in close throughout the first half, Western lead 4-3 at the break. Teams would exchange goals twice in the third, Western still leading by entering the final 15 minutes. Trent pressed hard but could not get the ball past the Western defence, Western would score a couple cap off their 2019 season with a third CUFLA championship.

Although the end-goal was not what they wanted, the Excalibur would like to congratulate the men's lacrosse team on a successful hard-fought 2019 season.
