Before yesterday’s game at Justin Chiu Stadium vs the Carleton Ravens, the Trent University Excalibur men’s soccer team honored their five graduating senior players.

Thank you gentlemen for your hard work and positive contributions towards Excalibur athletics. You were great ambassadors both on and off the field and proved what it took to bleed green. We wish you good luck in your future endeavors!

From left to right:

Kiefer Thalen, from Fenwick, Ontario, is one of the co-captains. He is a skillful defender who can get forward and help in the attacking third.

Will Horton, from Orangeville Ontario, is a fifth year starter that has captained the Excalibur for the last three years. He is a playmaking central midfielder who can also score.

Riley Brennan, from Mono, Ontario, is a fifth year starter who has been a captain the last two years. While his leadership will be missed, he is a defender that is good in the air and can chip in goals from set pieces.

Zach Shewfelt, from Paris Ontario, is a fourth year starter. He has a great work ethic and is a back that loves to get forward.

Zach Silva, from Brampton, Ontario, has been with the Excalibur for four years. He has a great shot stopping ability and is a role model for all of his teammates.
